Privacy Policy
Last updated 19 October 2026
In short: we collect only what we need to sell you the kit and answer your emails. We don’t use tracking or advertising cookies, and we never sell your information.
Who we are
CrisisKits is run by Wayne Farrell, based in Dublin, Ireland. We’re responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at crisiskitssales@gmail.com.
What we collect, and why
When you buy the kit. Your payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record and processes your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your full card details. Lemon Squeezy shares order information with us, such as your name, email address, country, order number and what you bought. We use it to provide the kit, help you with your order, handle refunds and keep the financial records the law requires.
When you email us. We use your email address and message to reply to you.
When you subscribe to our newsletter. Our newsletter, Built for the bad day, and the free First Hour Checklist are delivered through Substack. When you subscribe, Substack collects your email address and processes it under its own privacy policy, and we can see your email address in our subscriber list. We use it only to send you the newsletter and the checklist, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
When you visit this website. Our website is hosted by Netlify, which processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. The site also uses fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.
Cookies
This website doesn’t set any cookies, and we don’t use analytics or advertising trackers. When you go to checkout, you move to Lemon Squeezy’s website, which uses its own cookies under its own policy.
Our legal basis
- To provide what you bought and support your order: to perform our contract with you.
- To keep financial records: to meet our legal obligations.
- To keep the website working and secure: our legitimate interests.
- To send you news or offers: only if you’ve agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services we need to run the business: Lemon Squeezy (payments and orders), Substack (our newsletter), Netlify (website hosting), Google (fonts, and email, as our email is hosted by Google), and our accountant, for our financial records. We never sell your personal information.
International transfers
Some of these providers may process information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, they rely on legal safeguards approved under EU law, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as Irish tax and accounting law requires, which is normally six years. We keep emails only as long as we need them to deal with your question or order.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email crisiskitssales@gmail.com.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland at dataprotection.ie, or to the data protection authority in your country.
Children
Our kit is for businesses, and our website isn’t aimed at children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
